The full name of PIR (Polyisocyanurate Foam) is polyurethane-modified polyisocyanurate. It is a foam obtained by modifying a type of foam called polyisocyanurate with polyurethane. There is a big difference in performance with polyurethane. Polyurethane rigid foam is mainly composed of polyol and isocyanate， polyols are further divided into polyether polyols and polyester polyols. The product produced by the reaction of polyether polyol and isocyanate is PUR, and the reaction of polyester polyol and isocyanate produces polyisocyanurate (PIR).
